Scattered

Well, I took pictures of another example of my favorite stitch pattern as well as some bow tie patterns I doodled up, but I seem to have misplaced the adapter for the miniSIM card. So, maybe I'll get to that later or maybe I'll have to break out my real camera and shoot some pics.

I guess this would be a good time to get to know a little more about me. I'm twenty-seven, which is exciting for me. I don't really have that fear or hesitation of aging. It might develop down the line, but for now I'm happy to just be here. What else can I tell you? Well, when I'm not purposely trying to "speak" properly, I swear like a sailor. It can get really quite bad; at times nearly every other word is a swear word. I can't promise I won't ever slip on here, but I do try to moderate myself. Interestingly, I don't think I ever swear quite as much as when I crochet. A missed stitch, splitty yarn, an interruption, a pattern that just won't come to life can all trigger a line of four- and five-letter words.

I have a younger brother who is completely awesome. If I can con him into being my model, you'll probably see him quite a bit. He's ten years my junior and simply amazing. He's an obnoxious teenager, sure, but he's such a good person. I'm not a mother. I do have five kids I love without measure. They call my mom their godmom, so I'm not quite sure what that makes me, but I adore them. I frequently call them "my kids" or say things like "my littlest girl did" that. It's a bit confusing, but it's all love.

I am a bit of a Doctor Who geek. I've only watched the recent version with Nine, Ten, and Eleven but I just adore it's quirkiness. On my latest birthday a coworker gave me a TARDIS pendant. I still haven't worn it - I'm looking for the perfect chain and/or occasion. That's all I can think of for now. I suppose I should do an intensive search for that adapter now that my procrastinating has reached an end.
